Messed up a dig site level mapping in New Mexico back in May
I accidentally used the wrong datum point for an hour of recording at a pueblo excavation, so I had to re-measure every single artifact and feature with the crew giving me side-eye the whole time - has anyone else had a field mapping error that took forever to fix?

Our crew chief accidentally used NAD27 instead of NAD83 once, total nightmare.

15 miles of pipeline had to be re-staked because someone didn't double check the datum conversion. Yeah @the_tessa we've all been there, makes you want to throw your GPS in the river.
