Just saw another documentary call the pyramids 'tombs' and ignore the water erosion evidence.
It matters because mainstream archaeology keeps pushing the same old timeline without looking at the actual geology. Robert Schoch's research at Giza shows clear signs of heavy rainfall that stopped over 7,000 years ago. Does anyone have good sources on pre-dynastic dating?

Oh perfect, another documentary that just ignores the giant water stains. Guess they think rain in the desert is normal.

What's the deal with the Sphinx water erosion thing anyway? I tried reading one of Schoch's papers once and my eyes glazed over after two pages. I'm just a guy who watches too many YouTube docs, but even I can see the erosion patterns don't match the standard timeline. They keep finding stuff like those megalithic stones at Gobekli Tepe that are way older than they thought. Makes you wonder what else is buried under the sand that they're not telling us.

Yeah the "eyes glazed over" thing is real, I was the same way until I saw a side by side photo of the Sphinx erosion vs actual rain patterns. That vertical weathering looks nothing like wind or sand damage, it's clearly from heavy water. Once you see that, the old timeline just falls apart for me.
