That sound a dead ash makes when you tap it - never forget it

Heard a guy at the supply yard say you can tell a dying ash just by the bark flaking pattern. Took me back to 2019 when I had to take down 12 of them in one block in Cleveland, every single one made that hollow thud. Any of you guys still running into emerald ash borer damage this bad this year?

Yeah I'm not sure it's that bad everywhere though.

Ugh @hannahk19 I've seen it get pretty nasty in spots though. Check your local news for the map they put out, it might be closer than you think.

Yeah that hollow thud is something else, we lost 8 in Lakewood last month alone.
