Had to pick between a bucket truck and climbing for a tight backyard job yesterday
I showed up to this house in Decatur to remove a big dead limb hanging over their garage. The only access was this narrow gravel path between the house and a fence, maybe 3 feet wide. My bucket truck just was not gonna fit back there, no way. So I had to decide right then: spend an extra hour rigging ropes and climbing up myself, or call a buddy with a smaller mini bucket. I went with climbing since I was already there and the homeowner was watching from the window. Took me about 90 minutes to get it all roped down safely, and my shoulders are still sore this morning. Has anyone else dealt with a spot where your usual gear just does not work?

Man, I'd triple check that limb's weight distribution next time.
