Caught my ropes crossing on a takedown after 11 years

Last Tuesday in Dayton I noticed my lowering line was rubbing against the tag line and didn't realize the friction point until I heard the rope sing, 30 feet up on a red oak. Has anyone else had that "oh no" moment with rope placement or am I the only one who was doing it wrong forever?

Happened to me last spring, heard that same sick sound and froze solid.
