15 years of tying knots and I had the hitch backwards
A guy from the utility crew watched me rig a 60 foot oak last Tuesday in Boise and just goes, “You know that’s a clove, right?” I had been using the same wrap for so long it felt right, but the load was riding the wrong side of the bite. Has anyone else had that moment where a second pair of eyes just flips a switch on something dumb you’ve been doing forever?
