Rant: Burp Suite caught a vuln my scanner missed, now I question everything
Last Thursday in Austin, our paid DAST tool gave us a clean pass on a login flow, but Burp's manual repeater found an IDOR in 20 minutes, so are we over-relying on automated scanners or just bad at configuring them, and has anyone else hit this wall?
