Dropped $400 on a fuzzer bundle and it found nothing for 3 weeks

I bought this expensive fuzzing toolkit last month for my side project's API testing, figured the cost would pay off fast. Ran it against my endpoints and all it did was crash my local dev server with the same payload over and over, not a single real bug. Anyone else sink cash into a tool that just hummed along uselessly until you went back to manual testing?

Honestly, same thing happened to me. Wasted two weeks on an overpriced scanner, then found the real bug by just typing random garbage into a form field. Sometimes the old school way just wins out.
