Burp Suite scared me off for 6 months, finally gave it another shot

I kept putting off learning Burp because the interface felt like a maze and every tutorial assumed I already knew the lingo. Last month I watched a walkthrough from a guy in Austin who broke down the proxy tab step by step, and something just clicked. Now I'm using it to test my own little Node.js app and caught a header injection I would've missed entirely. Has anyone else hit that wall with a tool and come back to it later with better results?
