Spent 9 hours chasing a dead dryer on a Whirlpool Duet, and it was a $4 thermal fuse the entire time

Client in Reno called about a Duet that would not heat. I tested the element, the thermostat, the control board, all good. Pulled the vent, cleaned it, still nothing. Finally checked the thermal fuse on the blower housing, blown, $4 part, 9 hours of my life gone. Anyone else got a fuse story that made you feel dumb?
