Showerthought: I called aftermarket control boards junk for a decade, then a $38 one from a guy in Fresno outlasted the OEM part
Figured it would die in a few weeks but it's still running 14 months later in a Whirlpool duet, so now I keep two on the truck. What's the one part you swore off that ended up proving you wrong?

Cheap boards got better while OEMs got worse, so the brand loyalty thing cuts both ways.
