Heard a customer say 'it's just a fuse' about a fridge last week and it got under my skin

They watched one YouTube video and figured a blown control board was a $5 fix. Makes me wonder how else do you guys handle the 'I could do this myself' attitude without sounding like a jerk?

Yeah I've fixed plenty of things myself, just not successfully.

just not successfully" - so what's the one thing you keep trying to fix that always ends up worse? i'm curious what project you just can't get right.
