Had a lady in Tampa hand me a 20 year old Maytag dryer manual she kept in a ziploc bag
She pulled it out of a kitchen drawer and it was still crisp, said her late husband bought the dryer new in 2003 and she wanted me to have it since I was the first tech who didnt try to sell her a new one. Anybody else get handed stuff like this, and do you keep it or pass it along?
Old manuals are actually worth hanging onto because they list part numbers that cross reference to stuff still being made, and half the online listings get those wrong. I'd keep that one and maybe scan it before the paper gives out.
