TIL the city's 311 app actually works if you skip the website and report potholes straight through the app
I've been calling the 311 line for months about the giant pothole on Menaul near Louisiana and getting nowhere. Last week I tried the app instead and a crew filled it in 4 days. Turns out the phone reps log stuff under the wrong category half the time, but the app pins your exact spot on a map so there's no mix-up. Anyone else notice the app beats calling for street stuff, or did I just get lucky?
