City trash pickup skipped my street twice, then billed me $15 for a missed can
I live over by San Mateo and the truck came through last Tuesday, grabbed everyone else's cans but left mine sitting there. Called 311 and they said it counts as a missed pickup if I call within 24 hours. I called that night. Then it happened again this week, same thing, cans on both neighbors got emptied but mine was untouched. Now they sent a notice saying I owe $15 for a second service call. Anyone else fight this kind of billing mistake with the city before?

15 bucks seems kinda whatever in the grand scheme but yeah getting billed for their screwup would bug me too. Have you actually tried calling and disputing it or just pay it and move on?
