Pro tip: label every zone wire at the panel before you leave the attic, not after
Had one of those weeks where everything lined up. Knocked out 14 zones on a two story in Mesa in under 5 hours Wednesday, which never happens. Then Friday I had to go back to a job from 6 months ago because the keypad was showing fault on zone 9 and nobody could tell me which window it was. Spent 40 minutes tracing wires with a toner because my helper and I both forgot to label the home runs at the can. What do you guys use for tags that actually stay on in a hot attic? Sharpie on the jacket keeps rubbing off on me.
