Expansion loop clearance bit me on a warehouse job in Phoenix
Ran a 2-inch conduit run for a new motion sensor line and forgot to account for the building's thermal movement joints. The conduit pulled clean off the wall fitting after the first 110 degree day, took me 5 hours to redo brackets and add flex couplings. Anyone else ever undersize expansion allowance on a long exterior run and have to eat the labor?
