Why do we still use paper manuals when everything's on tablets now?

Paper doesn't crash when the power goes out.

Tried fixing a router once when the internet was down, and the digital guide was useless. Paper manuals just work when you really need them without any extra fuss. That’s why they stick around.

Last time, the PDF on my laptop had the right steps. Paper manual was for a different version.

Yeah that "when you really need them" hits hard. My entire home setup crashes and I'm just staring at a black screen like a caveman. Paper doesn't judge you for having dead batteries.
