Unpopular opinion: sometimes you gotta walk away from a grounded plane and come back fresh
Last Tuesday I was chasing a pressurization fault on a 737 that had me swapping outflow valves and chasing checklists for 6 hours straight. I hit a wall and couldn't even read the schematic right. My lead told me to go grab a coffee and cool off, so I took 20 minutes walked around the ramp. Came back and spotted a missing ground strap on the cargo door seal that I swore I checked twice. Has anyone else had a head-scratcher where stepping away actually fixed the troubleshooting faster than pounding on it?

Ditto what @emery_young13 said, walking away is basically a cheat code for your brain. I keep a rule now if I stare at the same wire for more than five minutes I shut the laptop and walk laps around the hangar.

Man I had almost the exact same thing on a 737 a few weeks ago with an outflow valve. Eight hours straight and my brain was toast. Stepped away for ten minutes to grab a soda from the break room and came back to realize I had the wrong test pin in the plug. Sometimes your eyes just need a reset, no shame in that.
