Torque wrench calibration: old-school beam style vs. digital, which do you trust in the hangar?

I used to swear by the old beam torque wrenches on Cessna gearbox bolts because they never lied, but after a 737 wheel assembly at ORD snapped a stud at 150 ft-lb due to a digital unit drift, I made the switch back to beams for anything critical, so which do you trust when the manual says +/- 3%?
