Torque wrench calibration got me today at ORD
Had a job last Thursday where a new guy torqued a wheel hub to almost double spec because our old wrench was way off. Cost us a whole tire change redo and delay warnings. I checked the calibration log and it was a month past due. Since then I always date the sticker right when I grab a tool. How often do you all actually check yours? Has anyone got burned by a silent calibration fail?
