That $200 specialized drill bit for rivets snapped on the second hole in a Cessna wing skin

I lost a whole afternoon on a job in Phoenix and had to drive across town to borrow a backup from a buddy because the tool truck doesn't even stock them, has anyone else found a decent alternative that doesn't break the bank?

Had a buddy who swore by a certain brand of socket wrenches until one snapped on him mid job. He tossed the whole set in the trash right there in the garage. That same day he went out and bought a whole new set from a different company, never looked back. Funny how one bad experience can just kill your trust in something you used to love. Now he won't even let anyone mention that old brand without getting riled up about it.
