Hot take: That $90 'universal' torque wrench adapter from the trade show is a paperweight.
It slipped on a 3/8 drive and almost rounded a critical bolt head on a Cessna flap actuator. Anyone got a brand they actually trust for oddball fittings?

Come on, mine's been solid for years. Maybe you just got a bad one.

What year is yours from though... my 2021 model started having screen flicker after 14 months. The warranty was only 12 months so I was stuck. Maybe they changed something in the newer ones.

Maybe you just got a bad one" is always the go-to defense, but I've been down that road too. The real trick is to record a video every time it acts up (screen flicker, freezing, whatever) so you have proof if you need to push for a replacement. Most companies will work with you if you show them a pattern, especially if you're polite but firm about it.
