Hot take: I went 6 years thinking the APU fire handle was a myth, then I pulled one in Boise
A graybeard in Boise showed me the APU fire handle during my first week on the ramp, and I honestly thought he was just messing with the new guy. Fast forward 6 years and a 737 came in with a real APU fire warning, and my hand went straight to that handle like I'd been training on it the whole time, which was weird because I never actually touched one before. Where did you first learn about the APU fire handle, and did you also think it was some kind of hangar joke?
