DAE notice the difference in composite repair times after switching to a new curing oven?
We swapped out our old 1990s oven for a new one with digital controls about six months ago, and now our standard 6-hour cure cycle is down to just under 4 hours. I think the tighter temp control is the main reason it's so much faster now. Has anyone else seen a big time save with newer gear for composite work?

Our old oven was basically a toaster.

Wait, you ran longer cycles just to be safe? That sounds like a fire hazard.

Yeah, that "basically a toaster" line is too real. Our old one had hot spots that forced us to run longer cycles just to be safe. The new digital controllers hold temp so much tighter, you can actually trust the schedule without adding a huge safety buffer.
