Tried that frozen chicken in the air fryer thing I was sure would be rubbery
I've been burned before with frozen chicken in the oven. Always comes out dry or weird. But my buddy swore by throwing a frozen breast in the air fryer at 380 for 25 minutes. I finally tried it last Tuesday and it was actually good. Juicy, not chewy. Just had to flip it halfway. Has anyone else had success with specific frozen meat cuts?

Wait, 25 minutes? At 380? That's like almost double what I do for thawed, I'd have bet money it'd turn into a hockey puck.

@derekjenkins yeah frozen stuff always needs way more time than you'd guess, it's like life's little trick.

20 minutes at 390 works way better for me with frozen chicken breasts, no lie. I had to mess around with temps and times for weeks before I found it, but now it comes out perfect every single time. The trick is you gotta pat the chicken dry with a paper towel even though it's frozen, just to get that ice glaze off. Then spray a little oil on it and season it before it goes in, not after. I swear by this method now, it beats the oven by a mile for frozen stuff.
