Took me 3 weekends to figure out my air fryer was too close to the wall

My basket kept coming out soggy on one side and crispy on the other, so after 3 weekends of trying different temps and shake times, I finally checked the manual and realized the vent on the back needs 5 inches of clearance, which mine had maybe 2 inches of, so has anyone else had a dumb placement issue like that ruin their results?
