The Tuesday my air fryer basket broke mid-chicken night

Last Tuesday I had 6 chicken thighs seasoned and ready, then the basket handle snapped clean off when I went to shake them. I had to use tongs and a towel to flip everything, took twice as long, but honestly the skin came out better than ever. Anyone else ever have a kitchen fail turn into an accidental win?

Flip that logic around, broken basket is just a sign you should've gotten a cast iron pan instead honestly. Air fryers are just tiny ovens with a fan, and now you're dealing with plastic snaps while real cooks are out here flipping thighs with zero drama. Ngl, you got lucky this time but that thing's gonna betray you again when it matters most.
