That guest at my cousin's potluck said my air fryer wings were 'fine' and it still bugs me 3 months later

I spent like 2 hours marinating those drumettes with smoked paprika and a honey glaze (because my family always wants sweet stuff), and she just took one bite and gave me that blank nod. Has anyone else gotten a lukewarm review on a recipe you actually put effort into?

Did they maybe just not like the sweet glaze? I mean some people are weird about mixing savory and sweet stuff, it could be a texture thing for them. Might be worth asking your cousin if she's got a thing about honey on meat.
