Shoutout to the person who said to preheat the basket for crispy fries

Spent three weeks dealing with soggy fries before I realized you needed to heat the basket for 5 minutes first, anyone else miss that step for way too long?

Actually it's 10 minutes for the basket, not 5. Trust me on this one.

Funny how things like that always seem to get mixed up, right? Its almost like our brains just round everything to the nearest five or ten minutes without us even noticing. Ive been paying attention to little details like that more lately and its wild how often we just guess and go with it. Pretty sure half the stuff I think I know is just a rougher version of the truth. But once you start noticing the pattern, you cant unsee it in all sorts of situations.
