My sister told me to stop preheating my air fryer and I owe her an apology
My sister came over last Sunday for lunch and watched me preheat my air fryer for 5 minutes before putting in frozen chicken wings. She said her model heats up in 2 minutes and preheating longer just dries stuff out. I told her she was nuts, but I tested it side by side with two batches of wings that same afternoon, and hers came out juicier with crispier skin. Now I only run mine for 2 minutes max before adding food, and I've stopped ruining salmon on the regular. Has anyone else messed with preheat times on their machine, or am I the only one who never questioned the manual?
