Last week I made the best chicken wings of my life by accident
It was a Wednesday, and I forgot to defrost the chicken so I just threw frozen wings in at 380 for 25 minutes. After 15 minutes I remembered I had a bottle of Sriracha honey sauce from 3 months ago sitting in the fridge. I tossed them in that and put them back for the last 10 minutes, and they came out crispy and sticky perfect. My roommate said they were better than the bar down the street. Has anyone else had a random lazy night turn into your best air fryer win?

Starting temp at 380 is a solid move for frozen wings. The trick most people miss is not overcrowding the basket, that makes them soggy instead of crispy. Also letting that sauce sit for 3 months probably meant the flavors melded together way better than fresh stuff. You just discovered that frozen wings actually do better with a higher temp cause they gotta thaw and crisp up at the same time. Try adding a pinch of baking powder to your dry rub next time, it gives you that crunchy exterior without burning.

Has anyone tried tossing them in a little cornstarch before the dry rub? It gives you that shatter crunch without the chemical taste baking powder can leave sometimes.
