Had to choose between frozen fries or making my own from scratch for the air fryer last night, guess which one I picked.

Frozen every time. I'm not peeling and cutting potatoes after work. That air fryer magic makes them crispy anyway. Save the scratch cooking for a weekend project. Weeknights are for survival.

My buddy tried the scratch thing once, said the kitchen looked like a flour bomb went off. He spent an hour for fries that were somehow both burnt and soggy. Now he just shakes the bag from the freezer like the rest of us.
