Watched an AI generate workout plans for a month straight
Last month I got bored and fed my entire client database into one of those AI fitness tools just to see what would happen. It spat out programs in 30 seconds that usually take me an hour to write by hand. Three years ago I would have laughed at the idea of a computer telling someone how to deadlift. But honestly some of the rep schemes it came up with were pretty solid. I ended up using one of its templates for a client with a bad knee and he's been hitting PRs every week since. Has anyone else actually gotten usable training advice from an AI?

What happens when that AI gets a client who's lying about their sleep and stress levels - garbage in, garbage out, right?

Are we really gonna act like one month of good results means AI is about to take over programming? I mean, deadlifts and PRs are great and all, but you also gotta wonder if that AI knows when a client is faking their form or about to snap their back up. Sounds like you got lucky with that bad knee template, but I'd be real careful about trusting something that doesn't see the person sweating in front of it.
