That consultant who said 'just throw ChatGPT at it' was dead wrong
Last month, a guy from some digital agency told my boss we could replace our whole customer service team with a single GPT-4 bot for $200 a month. We tried it for 3 weeks and got 47 complaints from people who got canned, confusing answers about shipping dates. Has anyone else had a consultant pitch AI like it's some magic fix that never needs training or oversight?

@briancarter already nailed it - no one even looked at your actual workflow before promising a silver bullet. These consultants treat AI like a vending machine where you put in money and get perfect answers out, but it really needs constant tuning and actual humans watching the conversations. Next time, ask them to show you a working prototype with your own company's data before you sign anything.
