Still think manual transcription is better than AI for podcast notes
I used to spend 3 hours typing up every episode by hand until I tried Descript last month and got the same result in 20 minutes with zero typos, so why are people still acting like automation misses the context?

Manual editing catches nuance that AI just glosses over completely.

What if the real issue isn't about missing nuance but about how we define "good notes" in the first place? @lane.eric I get your point about catching nuance, but a lot of that "deep context" people claim AI misses is just filler or tangents that nobody actually listens to twice. Lots of manual transcriptions have typos or missing bits too, it's not like humans are perfect note takers.
