Shoutout to old school hand coding vs drag and drop builders
I spent 3 days fighting with a Wix site for a client in Tulsa last month, then rebuilt it in raw HTML in 4 hours and it loaded 2 seconds faster, has anyone else noticed how much smoother custom code runs compared to those automated tools?

My buddy Mike spent a week on Squarespace and just gave up and coded it himself.

Simon sounds like my kind of guy. I spent three days trying to make a Squarespace site for my dog's bandana blog and ended up with a homepage that looked like a ransom note. Now I just hand-code everything in Notepad and hope for the best. My buddy @simonh74 would probably laugh at how long it takes me to add a single photo.

Ransom note homepage" is about right. My buddy Dave tried Wix for his handyman business and ended up with a site that had a picture of his truck next to a dancing cat gif he couldn't figure out how to delete. He just went back to a basic Facebook page.
