Hot take: I blew $180 on an AI resume tool and got a worse callback rate than my old Word doc
Part of me thinks these AI writing tools just flatten everyone into the same bland voice, but another part wonders if I just used it wrong for 3 months straight. Anyone actually land interviews with one of these, or did you ditch it too?

My buddy Dave ran his through one of those last spring and got 2 callbacks in 40 apps, then went back to his old resume and got 5 in the next 40. I tried one free trial for a week and every cover letter came out sounding like a robot wrote it. You're probably not using it wrong, they just all pull from the same bag of words.
