Had to pick between GPT-4 and Claude for my blog writing - chose wrong at first

Been using AI to draft my tech blog posts for 6 months now. Tried GPT-4 first. It was fast but kept making up fake stats. Switched to Claude. Slower but more honest. Downside? Claude refused to write half my drafts. Said they were too promotional. Lost 3 days of work. Anyone else hit this wall with AI content tools?

Oh man, you hit the nail on the head. @the_piper is totally right about that. I had the same thing happen with Claude and a bunch of my drafts about diet supplements. It just flat out said no, wouldn't touch them. At first I was mad about losing the time, but looking back I think it saved me from putting up some shady stuff that could've got me in trouble. Best thing you can do is treat those refusals like a free warning, even though it stings in the moment.

You got that right. I was messing around with some AI copy for a pest control ad and it shut down a whole batch about "all natural" treatments. Looked closer and realized some of the claims I was making were borderline at best. The AI saved me from getting flagged by Google or worse. These models are trained on what gets people in trouble, so if they say no, there's usually a good reason. My rule now is if it refuses twice on the same topic, I scrap the whole idea and start fresh rather than trying to force it.

Nah, Claude refusing drafts actually saved you from google penalties down the line.
