Burned $300 on an AI content bot that wrote worse than my old blog posts
Signed up for that WriteSmart AI tool back in May after seeing their ads all over LinkedIn. Paid $300 for the year upfront and it pumped out articles that read like a robot had a stroke, total gibberish about roofing codes in Phoenix. I tried tweaking the prompts for 2 weeks but it kept hallucinating building regs and citing fake city pages. Ended up tossing it and going back to my old freelancer, anyone else get hooked by these AI writing subscriptions that oversell?

I used to think AI was the future, but "robot had a stroke" is exactly right.
