AI wrote 50 product descriptions in 10 minutes - and they were better than mine
I run a small online store for handmade tools (mostly chisels and saws). I used an AI tool to generate descriptions for 50 items in one batch, thinking I'd have to rewrite most of them. But after checking 15 of them at random, only 2 needed tweaks - the rest were actually accurate and had the right tone. Has anyone else seen AI outperform their own writing on niche stuff?

It stings when something you put time into gets outdone that fast, but it sounds like you saved yourself a ton of work. That accuracy rate is pretty solid for niche stuff, AI can surprise you when you expect it to mess up. Hope it frees up time for more important tasks in your shop.

The whole "AI knows my niche better than I expected" thing keeps happening everywhere now, it's like the bots are quietly getting really good at the stuff we assumed they'd be terrible at.

Did you check if the descriptions actually use the right technical terms for your tools, or did they just get the general vibe right? I ask because with niche stuff like chisel steels or saw tooth geometry, a small mistake can make a product sound wrong to the people who know their stuff. If they nailed that too, that's honestly pretty wild.
