Spent 3 hours fighting with Midjourney for a giraffe in a tuxedo and finally found the secret

I kept getting weird blobs with long necks until I added 'formal event' to the prompt instead of just 'tuxedo'. Suddenly it started spitting out actual giraffes in suits. Has anyone else found a random phrase that just unlocks the AI's brain? lol

That's not exactly how it works. The AI doesn't "think" or suddenly understand context like we do. Adding "formal event" just gives it more specific training data to pull from since that phrase appears with dressed up animals in their dataset more often than a standalone "tuxedo" does. Same reason people use "cinematic lighting" or "professional photography terms to get better results - it narrows down the image pool the AI draws from. Took me a while to realize that if you want a penguin giving a speech, try "podium" or "microphone" in there instead of just "giving a speech".
