My $20 AI mashup prompt spat out a giraffe made of garden hoses and I was totally wrong about how easy this is.

I always thought AI mashups were just goofy nonsense until that weird hose-giraffe actually made me laugh for a solid minute, has anyone else had a mashup that genuinely surprised you with how good or weird it turned out?

Did that hose giraffe actually have realistic fur texture or was it just plain garden hose?

Actually I don't think you'd call it "fur" on a hose giraffe, more like whatever coating the hose comes with which is usually just rubber or vinyl. The spray painted ones at that county fair had a fuzzy texture from the paint but it wasn't anything close to real fur. Kinda reminds me of those glittery duct tape projects people try to pass off as realistic animal sculptures.

Oh totally, that reminds me of my uncle who spray painted an old pool float to look like a cow for a 4H project and it just looked like a lumpy inflatable with weird drips. People were genuinely confused whether it was supposed to be abstract art or just a really bad lawn decoration.
