Made AI mashups for 6 months before realizing I was using the wrong prompt structure
I kept getting weird blobby hybrids instead of clear mixes like a giraffe with a coffee mug head, and it drove me nuts. Then a friend showed me how separating the subjects with 'AND' instead of 'with' changes everything, and my outputs got way cleaner. Anyone else have a silly prompt trick that took way too long to figure out?

That "AND" trick saved me too, took months to stumble onto.

Funny you mention that, I actually heard a podcast about how search engines used to be way more manual back in the day. They said people would type in whole sentences and get nothing useful, then someone figured out operators like AND and OR just made things work better. Kind of wild that we're circling back to those old tricks because the new AI stuff can be so hit or miss. The quote trick works great too, I've used it for finding exact song lyrics or error codes at work. It's like the internet forgot how to just show people what they're looking for without all the extra fluff.

I read somewhere that this trick actually comes from how older search engines worked before all the AI stuff took over. Kinda funny that we're going back to basics just to get decent results these days. Apparently you can also use quotes around phrases and it helps narrow things down even more than AND does.
