AI pushed a hot dog through the drive thru at my old McDonald's in Toledo and I can't unsee it
Last month I typed "McDonald's drive thru but the worker is a giant hot dog" into one of those free image makers just to kill time on a Tuesday night. First try it gave me a normal window with a sad fries guy, so I added "wet mustard dripping" and reran it 6 times. Number five came out perfect: a 12 foot hot dog in a paper hat handing a bag to a minivan, ketchup on the glass. I went back to that same Toledo location over the holiday and could not look at the real window without laughing. What's the dumbest fast food mashup you've gotten to come out right?

Honestly the hot dog thing kind of proves nothing, because you basically told the machine what to draw and kept hitting retry until it did it. That is not the AI being clever, that is you being stubborn for six tries on a Tuesday. A real mashup would be something the tool came up with on its own that surprised you, not a 12 foot hot dog you clearly spelled out in the prompt. And going back to the actual Toledo spot just to laugh at a window is a lot of energy for a joke you already made yourself. So what did the machine ever give you that you did not ask for, because that would actually be worth hearing about.
