A neighbor's comment about my whale-blimp mashup stuck with me
Last Sunday I printed out one of my AI mashups where I turned the Goodyear blimp into a whale with fins and a blowhole. My neighbor saw it on my porch and said, "Why does it still say Goodyear on the side? That ruins the joke for me." I never thought about keeping the original text or logos in the image before. Now I keep second-guessing every prompt I write, like should I hide the branding or lean into it? I spent about 40 minutes yesterday trying to make a taco-shaped fire hydrant without any words, but the AI kept adding fake street names. Has anyone else had a small comment make them rethink their whole approach to mixing real objects?
Did you see that thing about how AI image tools are trained on so much branded stuff that it basically can't help adding logos and fake signs? I heard someone say you kinda have to fight it every time, or just let the weird branding ride since it can't be avoided.
Man, one offhand comment and now you're out here fighting a losing war against fake street names on a taco hydrant. Honestly the Goodyear logo might be the funniest part, like the whale got a corporate sponsor.
