Update: a contract reviewer in Dallas told me my scope of work was doing more harm than good
Sat in on a vendor call last Thursday and watched her read clause 4.2 out loud, and I finally got why my old agency kept losing disputes, so now I want to know if anyone here runs scope past a real lawyer before signing or just trusts the template.

Man, that feeling when someone reads the exact clause that's been biting you is rough. Sorry you had to find out that way.
