TIL that attorney review clause was actually negotiable
My lawyer in Austin insisted the standard 5-day attorney review period was non-negotiable on every offer. I lost two houses to faster buyers until a mentor said push back and offer 3 days instead. Has anyone else found standard boilerplate clauses that agents claim are fixed but really aren't?

Bet you could've just asked them to drop it down and they'd fold like a cheap suit lol. People get so dramatic over these things like it's carved in stone or something.

Kinda doubt they'd fold that easy, most people get weirdly defensive about the price they listed like it's personal.

Real estate is the only industry where "standard" just means "what we're used to getting away with.
