Rant: I keep seeing agencies use the same boilerplate MSA for every client in every state.
After reviewing a contract from a Florida-based client last month that completely missed their specific data privacy obligations, I realized how many agencies just copy-paste a template without checking local laws, which is a huge liability, right?

Copy your template then actually read it for once.

My template gets updated every quarter, so I'm pretty familiar with it.

Oh man, @jamie_white has a point. People just copy-paste without ever really looking at what's in there. I've seen templates with old pricing from two years ago, or a phone number for a guy who doesn't even work there anymore. It's lazy. You gotta open the doc and actually read the words, fix the stuff that's wrong. Otherwise you just look silly.
