Our agency's client contract review time went from 14 days to 2 days after one change.

We used to send the full 30-page agreement to every new client for review, and it always took forever. About six months ago, we started sending a simple one-page summary of the key terms first, like payment schedules and termination rights. The client reads that, we talk it over, and only then do we send the full legal doc for final sign-off. The turnaround time dropped like a rock. I think it's because the summary is less scary and gets everyone on the same page faster. Has your firm tried something similar to speed up the initial review stage?

We used to believe sending the whole contract first showed we were thorough. It just made people put off reading it. Your post makes a lot of sense. A simple summary gets the business talk out of the way before the legal details. That probably builds trust faster too. I'm going to suggest we try this method next week.

Hah, I learned that after sending way too many ignored contracts myself.

Wow, a business book I read last year made this exact point about clarity.
